I am incredibly honored to announce that I’ve been featured by Dear Fathers as part of their #FearlessFathers campaign!
At Parent-Child-Connect (P2C), our mission has always been to strengthen families by developing leaders and fostering meaningful connections. When I first connected with the team at Dear Fathers, I knew immediately that our visions were aligned. They are doing the vital work of “igniting the power of fatherhood and culture,” and it is a privilege to stand alongside them to highlight the impact of Black fathers worldwide.
Why This Partnership Matters
In my upcoming book, Lead Last, I challenge the idea that leaders are born. Instead, I argue that we are learned leaders, shaped by the mentors and experiences of our childhood. This is exactly why the work of Dear Fathers is so crucial:
- The “Who’s Next?” Principle: We aren’t just leading for today; we are establishing a legacy of mentorship that ensures our influence outlasts us.
- Leading with Heart: Real leadership isn’t about the spotlight; it’s about lifting others, building trust, and leading with purpose.
- The Power of Storytelling: Just as I use stories to teach life lessons to children, Dear Fathers uses the power of our collective stories to inspire a global movement.
Creating “Captain Planet” Moments
In Lead Last, I talk about “Captain Planet Moments”—the magic that happens when unique strengths combine to create something far greater than any individual effort. This collaboration is one of those moments. By joining forces with the #FearlessFathers campaign, we are amplifying the message that intentional fatherhood is the ultimate “leadership rep.”
