Whether leading at home or in the workplace, you’ll find practical, free resources to help you build stronger connections, lead with purpose, and raise the next generation of resilient leaders. I created this hub to serve parents, mentors, teachers, and emerging leaders with tools like conversation guides, worksheets, and leadership reflections, rooted in my experience as a Marine, father, and children’s book author. There are no strings attached—just actionable insights to help you thrive where leadership matters most.

About Olaolu Ogunyemi

I didn’t expect to become a Marine Officer, an award-winning author, or a leadership mentor. I grew up in a loving, imperfect home that reflected the strength and the struggle of many families trying to make ends meet while raising strong children in a world that often works against them. As a young Black man, I had every opportunity to become a statistic.

I’ve seen firsthand how easy it is for young people to be misled by the wrong voice, whether from the streets, social media, or even their insecurities. That’s why I’ve committed my life to making sure they have the right voices speaking into them, starting with their parents, teachers, mentors, and community leaders. I share practical, experience-backed tools to help people lead at home, in the workplace, and within themselves. Everything I teach is rooted in lessons I’ve learned through personal failure, insecurity, and hard-fought resilience as a Marine Officer and a father of three (and one furry child). Whether guiding a child through an emotional storm or coaching a new leader through self-doubt, I equip people to live purposefully and leave a legacy. My mission is to empower the next generation of impactful leaders. I do this by inspiring them and providing actionable frameworks that help them rise above adversity and build something that outlives them.

That’s why I founded Parent-Child-Connect, wrote my award-winning children’s book Crow From the Shadow, and will soon launch my new book, “Lead Last.” To see lasting change in our communities, we must build leaders who care more about service than spotlight. If your audience is hungry for honest, faith-driven conversations about growth, grit, and God-given purpose… If they want to raise confident, compassionate, and equipped kids for life… If they’re ready to lead differently and live with legacy in mind… I’d be honored to share this mic with you.
